Technology

Technology can provide powerful tools to advance the goals of watershed stakeholders including the protection and restoration of the environment. In California, though, local, state and federal practices, polices, guidelines, and regulations do not support the development nor use of technological tools in an integrated, standards-based, and far-sighted way. The SVEWC wants to help technological tools better and more quickly advance the promises they hold for watershed and land use management, emergency response, government cost savings and the environment.
